1963 Corvette Roadster

This one, named Rocklyn, or "Rocky" for short,  was purchased in April 2003, right after I sold Annabelle, my 1992 LT1/6 speed roadster. This car had been in dry storage since 1989. It was originally white, but has been painted bronze, blue and maroon before the current red. The engine at the time of purchase was a 1965 283 and M21. I installed an insane 355 oval track engine and rebuilt M21 in late summer 2003, then tore the car down again to redo the rear suspension. After finding hidden frame rust issues, I began refurbishing a 1965 chassis for the car, as well as a never-fired Chevy 468 engine. I am also accumulating a lot of 1967 components to update the car's styling. This car is a rolling testament to the parts and components that can be found at low cost thanks to EBay....

I have contacted several of the past owners who all have tales to tell, but none of them seem to corroborate very closely about the car's checkered past. I also have made initial contact with a guy who supposedly has the original VIN #s matching 327 for the car, but I'm way beyond caring about that anymore.
